World Book Day

All of the children dressed up as their favourite book character and enjoyed the World Book Day Parade!

The children also took part in a 'book swap'. They wrapped up a book and wrote a short blurb for someone else to choose to avoid 'judging a book by its cover'.

Fire Service Visit

The local fire service visited school to talk to the children all about fire safety and the role of the fire service in our local community.

The children were very excited to learn about all of the different equipment on board the fire engine and watch demonstrations. They were also able to explore the inside of the fire engine.

We are delighted and very proud to announce the result of the Ofsted Inspection that took place in November 2022.

We are ‘Outstanding’!

Christmas Pantomime - 'Once upon a time'

The KS2 Pantomime ‘Once Upon a Time’ on Thursday evening was a fantastic success! The children’s performances were excellent.

Flat Stan - First Aid

Flat Stan visited the school to show the children how to confidently administer first aid. EYFS and KS1 learnt about the importance of calling 999 and they practised CPR techniques. KS2 also learnt how to dress a wound.

Odd Socks Day

The children wore odd socks to school to mark Anti-Bullying Week.

The Local Policing Team visited school to speak to the children about the important work they carry out across our community, keeping us all safe. The children asked lots of interesting questions and learnt lots. They especially enjoyed exploring the police vehicles and trying on the uniform.
