Whole School Long Term Plan

The whole school long term plan gives an overview of the block teaching of non-core subjects for each year group in 2022-2023. Music, PSHE, PE and French are not included in this long term plan as music, PSHE and PE are taught weekly throughout the year and French is taught daily.

Assemblies

Our assemblies are carefully planned to allow children to deepen their understanding of the wider world. The assemblies link closely to the PSHE curriculum, British Values, religion and LGBT awareness. We have one whole school assembly at the beginning of each week, with class assemblies and key stage assemblies to follow up any further discussions. Assembly themes include children’s mental health, religious festivals across the world and internet safety.
